This guide explains how you can share a folder in your own Nextcloud with people who do not have their own access to HNE's Nextcloud.
You can create a share link and send it to your colleagues or partners.
A share link in the Nextcloud looks something like this:
This link can be opened in any browser on any device. Uploading and editing documents such as Word and Excel is possible in the browser
Proceed as follows in Nextcloud:
1. Create the folder in Nextcloud
2. Click on the share icon
3. A new menu appears on the right-hand side; click on the plus sign next to "Share link"
4. You can use the three-point button to set additional options for sharing, such as password protection or editing rights.
Please note: If the share is not password-protected, the data is no longer protected against unauthorized access. A password is therefore recommended!
5. Copy the link to the clipboard and send it to the recipient by email or messenger
6. If you need several share links for different target groups, you can also create several links
(e.g. group 1 may only read, group 2 may also upload)
You can send these 2 Links to different recipients.
