Lending of Laptops through the Family-Friendly University
Eligibility
- All students at HNE Eberswalde who require a laptop to support their studies.
Exceptions
- In certain cases, requests for other types of equipment may be considered. For questions or specific requests, please contact familie@hnee.de.
Steps to Borrow a Laptop

Request Submission
Send an email to familie@hnee.de including:- Your full name and student ID number
- A brief explanation of why you need a laptop for your studies.
Confirmation and Availability
You will receive a response confirming eligibility and availability, along with further instructions.-
Pickup and Lending Terms
- Once your request is approved, you can collect the laptop from the designated location at HNE Eberswalde.
- Please bring your student ID for verification upon collection.

Usage Guidelines
- Laptops come with pre-installed software relevant to HNE studies.
- A VPN connection to HNE is required to access the university network and internal resources.

- The return date and location will be specified upon pickup.
- If you need to extend the loan period, please reach out in advance to discuss possible extensions.
Important Information
- Software Pre-Installation: All laptops are equipped with essential programs for HNE studies. If additional software is needed, the IT Service can assist with installation upon request.
- Support: For technical issues or questions, please contact the HNE Eberswalde IT Service.
- Loan Extension: If an extension is needed, you can request it by emailing a brief justification to familie@hnee.de.
