1. In order to use the MAXQDA university license outside of our university, you need a VPN connection.

2. For private devices: Download the installation file for the MAXQDA Trial version online.
For school-owned devices: MAXQDA can be installed via the Softwarecenter .
INFO: The Campuslizenz works only with the latest main version of MAXQDA. (Currently
MAXQDA 2026)
3. Install the MAXQDA software.
4. Start MAXQDA and press “Connect to a network license”
5. Enter “maxqdanet.hnee.de” as the server address and update the license name list.
6. Select the current MAXQDA license named “MAXQDA-Campus” and press “Connect”
A VPN Connection is required !
