Download and installation of WireGuard
- Download the WireGuard software from https://www.wireguard.com/install.
- Install WireGuard. This process is quick and easy.
Setting up the Tunnel
- Open the dropdown menu and click on "Add empty tunnel..."
Optain your public key:
- Assign a name to the tunnel (Note: do not use spaces in the name).
- Save the tunnel.
- Copy the public key.
Request VPN Access
Navigate to https://itsz.hnee.de/dashboardOnce it is approved, you will be able to display and copy your created configuration.
Configuring WireGuard
- Open WireGuard again and click on "Edit."
- Copy the configuration data into the tunnel, under the existing text.
- In the end, the configuration should look something like this:
Testing the VPN Connection
Please test the VPN connection. If it doesn't work, contact us for further assistance.
Additional Notes
- WireGuard will start automatically after restarting your computer.
- The WireGuard icon can be found in the system tray, next to the clock. From there, you can open the window or right-click to start the VPN connection directly.
