These instructions describe a procedure that gives you access to the S: and P: drives via a web browser and Nextcloud. You do not need a VPN connection!
Open a web browser and open https://nextcloud.hnee.de and log in. Click on your profile picture on the far right and then on Settings.
On the left-hand side you will find the menu item "External storage". Enter your login data under "Global login information" and save it.
Above this, enter e.g. "P-Ordner" as the first folder name and select "SMB/CIFS" under Add storage (the page will now expand). Under Authentication, select "Global credentials". The entries for Host and Share depend on your location: on the forest campus, enter "wald10.hnee.de" as the host and "uw$" as the share; on the city campus, enter "stadt12.hnee.de" as the host and "us$" as the share. Enter your login name under "Removed subfolder".
Click on the tick on the right to save and check the details. If everything works, you will see a green marker on the left.
It is more complicated for the S drive. Here you have to add each
desired subfolder individually. The following table provides information
on the current settings to be used for Host and Share:

In this example here, I show the settings for the folder with the projects from the city campus.
If you now switch back to the files view, you will see the two added folders for S and P:
Here you can see all folders and files to which you have access and you are authorized.
